CFUW 51³Ô¹Ï Diana Morgan Scholarship in Humanities
The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) was founded in 1908. It is a voluntary, non-partisan, non-profit, self-funded club of approximately 250 members. They are active in supporting higher education for women and in advocating for women's rights. This award was established by the CFUW 51³Ô¹Ï Scholarship and Bursary Society through the generosity of Diana Morgan.
Diana Morgan, a long time member of CFUW, enthusiastically supported high standards of education for women. With her legacy, CFUW 51³Ô¹Ï will continue Diana's passion.
Diana spent her early life in Kenya with her parents. In her early twenties Diana ventured to Canada. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University, Diana pursued a career as an elementary school teacher. Diana, with her late husband Trevor, retired to 51³Ô¹Ï in the early '90s.
CFUW 51³Ô¹Ï welcomed this dependable person with high standards of orderliness who was eager to serve the club.
