Nelson Family Bursary
Dr. Colin Nelson is a physician and surgeon who was aided by a scholarship in his native Belfast, Ireland.
The Nelson family came to Canada in 1973. Dr. Nelson opened up the 51³Ô¹Ï Corneal Laser Centre in 1994 and just sold the clinic.
He has 6 children, one of whom, his son Phillip, is at UVic studying psychology.
