The Latin America Research Group (LARG) is a forum for the study of Latin America. We bring together faculty as well as graduate and undergraduate students working on Latin America from a number of disciplines including anthropology, business, environmental studies, Indigenous education, geography, Hispanic studies, medicine, music, philosophy, political science, public administration and sociology.

CFGS Visiting Fellow Luca Queirolo Palmas will be showing the documentary film he helped research titled 'L'Aventure' produced within the framework of the Solroutes project that seeks to reflect,together with local Mauritanian actors in Nouakchott and Nouadhibou, on the illegalized migratory journey to Europe, which in French is referred to as l'Aventure.
